1960s Majestic De-Luxe Gold Eddy Drum Kit

800.00

Made in Japan “Majestic De-Luxe drum kit in original “Gold Eddy”, sizes 14x20, 8x12 (2), 14x14, and 5x14 snare drum. These have the thicker luan shells with silver interiors, probably made in the same factory that would go on to produce Star and Tama drums. Wrap is in good condition considering that these drums typically scratch very easily. The drums do have plenty of scratches, but not what you typically see. There is some rusting on the inside of the bass drum hoops and a couple inches of inlay missing from the the bottom of one hoop. Five of the t-handles do not match the rest of the bass drum handles. Unoriginal bass drum spurs. Some minor rusting and pitting on the hardware throughout - I’d grade a B-. Some of the tension rods do not match.
