1960s Rogers "Headliner" Black Onyx Drum Kit

2,000.00

Rogers Headliner outfit in original Black Onyx, sizes 14x20, 8x12, and 16x16. Wrap is crack free minus one hairline crack in the wrap on the floor tom (pictured in photo 7).  Some of the bread and butter lugs have cracks, but all are functional. The bass and rack tom were purchased together while the floor tom was added separately. All drums have flat gray interiors with their paper tags.

The bass drum has two enlarged lug holes to take a beavertail. That lug has been swapped out for a bread and butter lug. The interior is lighter than the rest of the drums, but is factory. Both hoops are original but some inlay was missing, so it was replaced with original Black Onxy inlay.

Both toms are missing their mufflers. The floor tom has one unoriginal hoop. There is scratching and wear inside the floor tom near the edges. There are no major dings although the edges do show some where and some sparkle from a sparkletone head. There is also some scratching and scuffing on the outside. The drum tunes up and sounds great. The vast majority of tension rods on the toms are original.
